Know Where Your Permit Is..

Reminder to all teens with a PA Learners Permit! You should always have a paper copy of your permit with you if you are driving!! We encounter the issue many times throughout the year, and it happened again this week, where we show up to do a lesson with a student and they don't have their permit with them. Unfortunately, our state does not recognize "electronic documentation" or a picture on our phones of our license or permit. So you have to have a physical piece of paper.. We recommend making a few copies of the original and keeping one in each vehicle you may be driving as well as trying to keep the original in your home somewhere or better yet in your wallet/purse!

Vaccinated!

We're happy to share that our entire team (Tim & Bill) as of late last week are fully vaccinated for Covid19. Good sense of relief for us and hopefully for you all as our clients! We will continue to follow the safety protocols we've had in place since last June, but we're looking forward to not spending the entire summer wearing masks. Wow, We Cover A Big Area

We recently finished lessons with two students who are about as far apart as can be geographically for us! One who lives in Northeast Philly, and the other in Plumsteadville.. Got us to thinking about the range of where students live and go to school that we regularly work with. Following is a list of all the school districts that teens we've worked with in just the past year attend, which doesn't include all the kids who live in these districts and attend one of the many private schools in PA & NJ.

Bensalem, Bristol, Centennial, Central Bucks, Council Rock, Lower Moreland, Morrisville, Pennsbury, Philadelphia, Neshaminy, and New Hope/Solebury.

So if you type "Driving Schools Near Me" or "Driving Lessons Near Me" into your browser and we don't immediately pop up, look us up! We'll be happy to share names of many students we're working with in these districts that you or your teen likely knows..

We're Getting "Back To It"!

With this unprecedented scenario we've all been dealing with, we've been basically closed since early March. But now due to many inquiries and the want of a number of families that we were working with back in the early spring already, we're going to get back to doing driving lessons the week of May 25th. We are taking the well being of ourselves and our students very seriously by limiting one instructor to work solely out of one vehicle, not switching around between vehicles, and we are wiping down all the controls in our vehicles both before and after every lesson with disinfectant wipes and will be wearing masks for the foreseeable future. We look forward to working with all of you on the important task of preparing your teens to attain their driving privilege and more importantly, advancing their skills as real life drivers!

Hey Mom and Dad, take advantage of all this "down time"!

Well thees are certainly strange times for all of us! Can't say that in the nearly 17 years we've been in business that we've dealt with anything like this virus and how the world is reacting. In conversations over the last 10 days or so with students and parents we've thought about the opportunity that presents itself in these times for teen permit drivers and their parents. Eventually they're going to take a road test right? So why not utilize this "down time" from school and many of the other busy aspects of a typical teen's life to get those hours of driving time in? This is a great time with us having to spend so much time around our families to spend some "quality time" working on developing your teen's skills on the road. Roads aren't terribly busy, so this is a great time to work more in the environments they need more exposure to whether that's out on the interstate merging, or driving around in town, or to work or school. And make sure you're concentrating on the decision making aspect and right of way rules. That's always the part of the driving task that teens need to get stronger at. Feel free to call us if you have any questions on any aspect of working with your teen driver, and we look forward to getting back together with all of you when life gets a bit more normal again!
